WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR KIDS

Well prepared and caring teachers and helpers

Through the help of Jesus Christ our children’s ministry staff will truly exceed your expectations. We go to great lengths

to prepare a safe, compassionate, and enjoyable environment. Most importantly we pray and fully expect for God to help us minister to the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of each individual child.

It’s not just childcare

Big church is designed with adults in mind; our classes are different. We focus on Bible teaching, prayer, praise & worship and we do it in a fun way that is geared for their age, attention span, and developmental stage. It's "serious" fun!

What about children with special needs and circumstances?

We welcome any child with special needs. Sometimes we may require the help of mom, dad, grandparent or aide, but we'll go out of our way to reach every child with God's love and power through inclusion. If you have any questions about your particular situation please contact Pastor Christa Proctor at: christa@impactchurch.info. We'd love to be ready to receive your child and make every experience at our church positive for your child and for you.

Babies (0 – 24 months)

The nursery begins receiving babies at 9:15 AM every Sunday. Toddlers up to 30 months of age are welcome, and we separate crawlers from walkers. Each child is assigned a security number which can be displayed in the main sanctuary in case a parent or guardian is needed. For your added comfort there is a nursing mother/infant care room just off our main auditorium. From this location you may still participate in the service through a one-way window and adjustable audio speaker. Changing table and rockers are provided as well.

2 & 3’s | 4 & 5’s | Kindergarten & 1st Grade

These children are divided into age appropriate classrooms. Classes for these age groups open up right after the first set of worship, when the kids are invited to exit the main auditorium escorted by their parent or guardian. When the child is checked in they are given a security number which is displayed in the main sanctuary in case the parent or guardian is needed. Our main check-in table is in the foyer and can be taken care of before service begins. Children must be taken to the toilet by the parent/guardian, so it’s a good idea to do that prior to checking them into the class.

K.W.I.C.K. | Kids Worshipping In Christ’s Kingdom (Grades 2-6)

This high octane worship experience begins after the first set of worship songs in the main sanctuary. Children this age also register at the check-in table but are allowed to go into class without being accompanied by parents or guardian. These kids meet in the multi-purpose room, which is located to the left of the main auditorium stage.
